Course Date
- This workshop will be held from 9.30 am-5.30 pm on Saturday 16 March 2024
Course Description
What does it mean to be a man in 21st Century Britain? Are men having a tougher time now? Are men going through a crisis of confidence or an identity crisis? How well are men supported in negotiating a transition in society as regards gender roles? Everyone who feels connected to the question is also included in the constellation in a personal way.
The good news is that there have been significant changes and developments in masculinity - if a group of men from the 1950’s or indeed the 1970’s were transported into the middle of a park on a Sunday afternoon in 2023, they’d surely be surprised to see the number of men pushing prams or playing with their children. Fathers are far more involved with their children now, much more affectionate and tactile then they were then. However, it is a shifting landscape and there is a way to go.
